Being charged with any drug offense is serious. It can put a permanent mark on your criminal history and leave you facing difficult consequences, including jail or prison. Future employment, education, college grant money, and professional licenses can all be threatened by the conviction of even a minor drug offense in North Carolina.
At Bob Clark Law, I use my 28 years of experience and the hundreds of drug cases I have worked on to seek the best result I can for my client. I review the facts of the case and examine whether the search or seizure was conducted appropriately. I look for alternatives to conviction that will allow my client to keep his or her record clean or to negotiate a reasonable settlement. When a trial appears to be the best course of action, my client knows that my background of over 200 jury trials and over 1000 District Court trials will provide him or her with an aggressive strategy and a fair trial.
Whether you, or a loved one, have been charged with a felony or misdemeanor drug offense, you need a lawyer who is concerned about how the offense can affect a person's future. Contact my firm, Bob Clark Law, for a free consultation. I offer reasonable rates, flexible appointment times and return nearly every call the same day it is received. Call us at 828-452-4551.
I always seek a dismissal of the charge or a non-guilty verdict when it is realistic to do so. This can sometimes occur after successful completion of a pre-trial diversion program. When your case results in a dismissal or not guilty, I then take steps to erase, or expunge, the case. This means that a review of your record would not even show that you were arrested.
Contact my firm right away to get started on the criminal defense for you or your loved one. My firm offers a free consultation and reasonable rates. Protect your rights and your future.
