Attorney Bob Clark has a deep history in Western North Carolina. In 1978, Bob graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law and moved to North Carolina. He has worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Haywood, Gaston and Buncombe Counties and as an Assistant Public Defender in Gaston and Buncombe Counties.
In 1985 Bob was recommended as one of the three candidates for the Governor of North Carolina to consider appointing as a District Court Judge. Prior to the selection, Bob accepted a position in the Buncombe County District Attorney's Office. In 1996, Bob joined the District Attorney's Office in Waynesville. Bob Clark Law was opened as a private, solo practice in Waynesville in 2005.

The cases involved in those trials have ranged from misdemeanor offenses to 10 death penalty cases.
