When I, Bob Clark, opened my own firm in Waynesville, North Carolina, after working for the District Attorney's office in Haywood & Jackson County for 9 years, I did so because I sought the independence of a private practice. I wanted to work directly with individual clients and provide them with experienced and compassionate consultation.

As a prosecutor for 14 years and a defender for 14 years, I have attained a strong background in criminal law and have a deep understanding of the local legal community.
My practice could not function without the assistance of my wife, Janet Clark. Janet has an extensive business background which includes work with Abbott Labs, Union Carbide and BB & T. As a North Carolina native and graduate of Business Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill, Janet brings a high standard of business organization to our office. Her skills are brought to bear on behalf of each client in a number of ways. Janet and I are the firm and our relationship yields the shared goal of pursuing excellence for each client.
